Morgon, the Beaujolais natural-wine origin.
Marcel Lapierre (1950–2010) was the godfather of natural Beaujolais, returning Morgon to native-yeast, low-sulfur winemaking in the early 1980s and inspiring three generations of natural-wine producers. The estate, now run by his children Mathieu and Camille, continues the work with the Morgon and Raisins Gaulois bottlings.
